About Us

Named for the human father of Jesus and its local parish, St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School opened its doors to families in the heart of Grimsby in 1954.

In 2010, a new St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School opened to accommodate growth across west Niagara. Today, St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School is home to approximately 225 students in kindergarten through Grade 8.

Led by a team of professional Catholic educators, students encounter Christ daily in a nurturing, faith-filled, inclusive, learning environment. Before and after-school childcare is available at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School  through the YMCA.

St. John Catholic Elementary School is the Home of the Phoenix (future Blessed Trinity Thunder). It is part of the Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School family of schools and the St. Joseph parish community.
